Cajun Steak
Ingredients:
2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teasspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 strips think-sliced bacon, chopped
1 cup red, orange, yellow bell peppers, cut into strips
1 1/3 cups tomatoes, diced
1 tablespoon chopped freash parsley
1 tablespoon butter
8 oz. dry wide egg noodles
1 cup pepper Jack cheese, shredded
Salt to taste
Directions:
- combine seasonings and flour in a ziplock bag then add steak and shake
- cook bacon in pan. Remove bacon when browned and cook bell peppers in bacon grease
- melt butter in pan and fry seasoned steak
- cook noodles to al-dente and combine with butter and shredded pepper Jack cheese
- combine cooked steak, bell peppers and bacon, then place over noodles and garnish with diced tomatoes and parsley
